Feasibility Study for an Agroindustrial Social Business Project
This Study, financed by the Foundation and entrusted to an important Indian Consulting Group, focused on the large-scale production of tropical fruits and their downstream transformation into concentrated juices to be largely exported to international markets.
The study was completed in 2012 and gave valuable results fully confirming the Foundation’s vision about the centrality of Agriculture and Social Entrepreneurship in the future of Sierra Leone.
For the time being, the implementation of such an Agro-Industrial initiative has been set aside considering that the big size and the complexity of the project would have required an excessive investment and a number of skilled personnel not available at the moment.
Study concluded by the end of 2012.
