Who We Are

The Saint Lawrence Foundation is a philanthropic non-profit organization whose purpose is to support social, educational, and humanitarian activities in the poorest communities of the world.
Currently, the Foundation is supporting the University of Makeni in Sierra Leone, a Northwestern African Country that is slowly recovering from a ravaging civil war. The majority of the infrastructures were leveled to the ground and it will take years to rebuild them completely. Education is one of the most serious issues, because of the lack of schools, didactic material and teachers.
The target of the Saint Lawrence Foundation in Sierra Leone is to create the conditions necessary to offer a good education to the upcoming generations, in order to train new leaders who will forge a path for their country away from poverty, corruption, and war.
